Passport to Construction 2019

Adeiladwyr Mon Cyf were given the opportunity to attend and support mock interviews for long term unemployed people who participated in the CITB funded Passport to Construction programme. The programme was run by Creating Enterprise and Brenig Construction. CITB were able to deliver the construction course to long term unemployed people from North Wales.

Each course lasted for 6 weeks, participants will learn employability skills, have site visits, a week’s work experience placement and the Health & Safety and CSCS qualification. They are also providing them an Agored Cymru ‘Working in Construction’ accreditation.

A success story to this programme led to Adeiladwyr Mon Cyf offering full time employment to one of the candidates who continues to be a valued member of the team.
